CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FINISHERS
4000 cyclists tackled Stage 1 of the Tour De France from London to Canterbury on Sunday, July 1st in tough weather conditions. Covering the 120mile route with frequent showers, strong winds and the occasional 'misbehaving' car, made it a proper challenge for everyone involved. Even our Cyclefilm camera teams got stuck in the odd traffic pile up heading out of London and navigating through Kent. In the end though, the sun prevailed and we filmed lots of tired but happy faces crossing the finish line in Canterbury.
WELL DONE VICTORIA!
Swapping her World Champion Rainbow Jersey for Cyclefilm Orange, Victoria Pendleton does a fantastic job hosting the official British Sportive event DVD. Watch her get straight into the action, interviewing riders and spectators from start to finish while handing out Bananas and Sweets from the back of the Cyclefilm Mini Convertible and even changing a puncture before the ride even started. All this in her first role as Host in front of the camera, proving that she is a true professional - on and off the bike!
